These terms govern your use of the Quiet Surface app and website. By using either, you agree to them. If you don't, please don't use the app.

The app

Quiet Surface is a personal reflection app for iOS, made by Mer So Studio, LLC. It is currently available on the App Store in the United States. Your use of the app is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

Your content

Everything you write in Quiet Surface belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your reflections, ideas, or notes. Because your data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for keeping your own backups.

Pro upgrade

Quiet Surface Pro is a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. Purchases are processed by Apple. Any refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.

Acceptable use

Quiet Surface is for personal use. You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of the app.

No warranty

Quiet Surface is provided as-is. We make no guarantees about uptime, data preservation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Because your data is stored on your device, we are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, software updates, or other causes outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mer So Studio, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the app will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
