Quiet Surface is built around a simple principle: your reflections are yours. This policy explains what data we collect, where it lives, and how it is used.

Your data stays on your device

Everything you write in Quiet Surface, including your weekly reflections, focus areas, energy ratings, and ideas, is stored locally on your iPhone using your device's built-in storage. Your data is not transmitted to our servers, not uploaded to the cloud, and not shared with any third party.

We do not have access to your reflection content. We cannot read it, retrieve it, or delete it on your behalf.

No account required

Quiet Surface does not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or sign in. The app works without any identifying information.

Pro purchase

The Quiet Surface Pro upgrade is a one-time purchase processed entirely through Apple's App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information. Apple's Privacy Policy governs all payment transactions.

AI export (Pro feature)

Pro users can export their reflection history as a structured document to paste into an AI tool of their choice. This export happens entirely on your device. We do not see, transmit, or store the exported content. Any data you share with a third-party AI service is governed by that service's privacy policy.

Availability and children's privacy

Quiet Surface is currently available only in the United States. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
